c(3) Wines: The Company Behind Great Wine and Great Causes

There are countless claims about the glorious health benefits of wine. Numerous studies show that moderate wine drinkers have a lower chance of developing heart disease and diabetes than non-drinkers. Most of us don’t need more reasons to drink wine, but if you do, here's one: (c)3 Wines.
The Company
(c)3 Wines was founded by Christen and Brady Raanes in 2012 with the purpose of alleviating poverty in the developing world through education, employment, and empowerment.
The company’s model is straightforward: make great wine and support great causes. Quality wine is sourced and blended in top vineyards in Napa Valley. Then, 100% of profits from each bottle are donated to non-profit, charitable 501(c)3 organizations.
(c)3 leverages the power of business (and the joy of wine) to generate a consistent funding stream for top-tier nonprofits. In this way, the company has a positive impact on both the people it seeks to serve and the nonprofit organizations doing the work. People across the world benefit from direct services while the organizations  have sufficient, and more predictable, funding for staffing and operations.

Transparency with consumers is vital for socially responsible companies, and (c)3 does this well. A full explanation of the values, supply chain, and cost structure is available online, as well as details on the Cabernet Sauvignon and White blends.

The Causes
(c)3 features different organizations each quarter. This quarter focuses on education.

Donations are going towards Pencils of Promise to build schools and train teachers in Ghana or towards Colorado Young Leaders to develop a new generation of leaders in the U.S. If you're interested in these causes, make your responsibuy soon! These organizations will be featured until November 14th.

With (c)3 Wines, we can now enjoy the benefits of drinking great wine while also impacting great causes - causes bigger than ourselves.
